Bowen Community Garden

Cultivating Community Connections

The Bowen Community Garden is an initiative of Stella Community, who provides governance, grant funding support and oversight.  The Garden is truly a community affair, led by passionate volunteers, and welcoming all who wish to be involved, in whatever way they want.

At Bowen Community Garden, we believe in the power of nature, through gardening, to bring people together, nourish our bodies and souls, and create a thriving, sustainable community of like-minded people. Nestled in the heart of Bowen, our garden will be a vibrant hub where individuals of all ages, abilities and backgrounds can come together to grow, learn, and connect with nature.

Our goal is to cultivate a sense of belonging and empowerment through gardening, education, and community engagement. Fuelled by a passion for sustainability and community, we will create shared spaces where people from all walks of life can connect through the joy of gardening. We aim to nurture a sense of belonging, promote sustainable practices, and harvest a bounty of fresh produce and friendships.
